Ingredients: water, propylene gycol, oleyl betaine, dicetyldimonium chloride, lecithin, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, lactic acid , fragrance, coumarin, eugenol, hexyl cinnamal, hydroxycitronellal, methylparaben, propylparaben, dmdm hydantoin, titanium dioxide, mica, ext violet 2 (CI 60730), green 5 (CI 61570) What is all that stuff? I have no idea. All I know is that using it in conjunction with my routine seems to help my hair remain well moisturized without feeling overly conditioned. I've been using the 'protein, moisture, Porosity Control, oil' routine for a good many years since I was introduced to the idea on another forum, where one of the members recommended it for those with badly damaged, overly processed fragile hair. My hair's actually in good shape, but I find that it stays in better shape if I come back to this routine, with this product, once in a while. The old bottles are black and white, the newer ones are the blue with white text. The product is apparently distributed by a company called Colomer USA Inc. Edited to add that I've found this one available at Sally Beauty Supply stores, and at some other local beauty supply stores.

I've been using this mask in conjunction with the rest of the products from this line for most of this year (about six months, at this point) Since my hair is hip length, it does take a fair amount of product to work it through my hair, but I find that if I apply to damp hair, it's easier to use less product. I usually apply, put on a heat cap and let it sit for a while, maybe 30 minutes, then rinse. The scent is light, like the rest of the line, which is a huge plus for me.

I've been using this conditioner in conjunction with the Optimoist Shampoo from the same line for some months now. I use it when my hair seems to need a bit of extra moisture, just as an 'apply in the shower and rinse out' type conditioner. My hair's on the fine and wimpy side, so too much conditioning can make my hair go flat. For that reason, I don't condition with this stuff every shampoo, maybe every other one. (There's a deep conditioner in this line that I use with heat from time to time.) I've been using nothing but the products from this line for most of this year, and have been very happy with it. My hair seems well moisturized but not flat.

I've been using this shampoo for the better part of the year, after YEARS of experimenting with just about everything. I figured out along the way that I need a moisturizing shampoo, and conditioning that's fairly rich and good with detangling. The scent is light (kind of lemony?) and doesn't linger much in my hair. Even though it's got stuff like SLS in it, it seems to be gentle. I don't dilute it, just work a dab across my wet fingers and palms and apply to my scalp, then rinse. I find that the shampoo alone is rich enough for my wimpy/fine hair, so I don't always condition my length every time I wash. It doesn't make my scalp itch, either.
