This is my holy grail of shampoos. The smell is heavenly, the texture is smooth and turns into a creamy lather without being too sudsy, it rinses very well and leaves my hair feeling smooth and tangle-free while wet (a huge issue for my long, thin, dry ends). A little bit goes a long way, so while this is a more expensive brand of shampoo, it really is cost effective. The moisture balance of my scalp is perfect after rinsing and drying (not too dry, not still oily). I love the light coconutty smell (not overwhelmingly tropical or fake, and believe me, I'm sensitive to smell). The packaging is great and the bottle with its narrow neck is easy to hold while dispensing product.
This is also my perfect body wash and shave cream. It provides enough slip for the razor to glide over my skin without nicks - even in the bikini area! No irritation. Again, cost effective, as a little bit on a pouf or natural bristle brush goes a long way.
I always use conditioner (Nexxus Humectress, this shampoos partner), but I use far less conditioner (no more palms full of conditioner!) when I use this shampoo, and because my scalp isn't dried out, I don't need to use the conditioner on my scalp!
I would have given this product a rating of 11 if it were available. Love it.

nothing in my opinion

I was looking for a gentle suflate 'poo for my regimen because after months of trial and error, it seems sulfates are what keeps my flakies at bay. This has chamomile and nettle in it-which my hair loves both. it smells like coconut-just like suave's coconut 'poo (but it does not linger in my hair which is a shame). This is pretty thick, but it doesnt make my hair glob-up like all the shampoos I have used in the last few months. *cough* max green alchemy and oyin *cough*. It lathers great and rinsed out without fuss. My hair doesn't get tangly or matty afterwards, and it doesnt feel stripped either. I use in conjuntion with trader joe's refresh conditioner. This 'poo holds HG status for me.
*Nexxus does *not* test on animals.
