Pros: best detangling brush!
Cons: none

I paid about $20 for mine, but I was living in Hawai'i at the time where things cost more. You can get this from places like Ball Beauty for $12.50 now.

This is the best brush I've ever used, hands-down. It's fantastic at detangling (goes through the hair like a hot knife through butter! ). I don't really have fuzz building up in it, but if it gets gunky, I can just take it apart, wash it, and put it all back together very easily.

Pros: comes in pretty colours, versatile, flexible bristles, easy to clean
Cons: none

I adore my Denman! I actually have two. My purse size brush is too small for all this hair, but I use it on my daughter, who is very tender-headed. With most brushes, she makes me stop, but the Denman is gentle on her scalp because the bristles have a lot of give.

I love it on my hair too. No matter how tangled my hair gets, it goes through my tangles like a hot knife through butter. Because there are no barbs on the bristles, when you hit a snarl you can just pull the brush out and detangle it by hand. I can't use a comb to detangle because I break them

Pros: It is a brush, but feels and acts like a comb
Cons: Um, can't think of one

Can I rate it any higher than a 10? I love and adore my Denman brushes!

I own several "regular' Denmans (dark blue, pastel-sherbet-y colored, black with rhinestones), but my all time favorite is my wooden handled Denman. I ADORE it.

I also own a Denman BBB, which is good, but doesn't compare to my Mason Pearson large extra all bbb.

I've bought my Denmans at Sally's, a place here in town called The Beauty Store, and online (from Ball beauty, I think).

Anyway, I had to join in and sing the praises of Denman!

Pros: No ball tips to snag knots. Glides instead of tearing.
Cons:

There's not much to add to the other reviews.
I own these and got them at Sally.

Denman D5
Denman D3
Denman D31 - Wide tooth variety similar to vent brush.

I use the D3 more often. I've been using these since January 2005 and they are my main tools.

Pros: It is pretty!
Cons: Hair gets stuck in rubber base

I have the tiedye colored 7 row Denman brush from a group order ages ago.

It's ok but something I don't use very often. My hair is attracted to the rubber part under the bristles which causes tangles and makes it hard to brush. Never heard of anyone else having this problem though.

Pros: No snags, well made
Cons: Static. And static.

I'm not saying this is a bad brush, or that it's not perfect for many people, but I'm really prone to static and live in a dry environment, and a brushing session with one of these leads to a Van-der-Graaf generator effect and a storm of static and tangles. Not that wooden combs don't give me static too, but yeah. If you're prone to static, this may not be a miracle product for you. Which is a shame.
