Pros: Seamless, Well-spaced Teeth
Cons:

I included shipping in my price. The actual comb was $10.

I love this comb. It glides through my hair like no plastic comb ever has. In fact, when I bought this comb I threw out my plastics.

It has also put up with a beating. I do drop it sometimes and it's never broken.

It's a beautiful comb that leaves my hair smooth and static free.

Pros: doesnt mind my damp hair, natural product, doesnt snag hair
Cons: couldnt touch product before buying as is online store.

I love this comb. It is better than any of my other combs including my Mason Pearson. Its teeth are the perfect width apart. I was a little afraid when I first used the comb because it made a kshhhh noise through my hair, but the insides of the tines have smoothed out really quickly and even before they got smoother my hair was never snagged.

I use coconut oil to treat this comb as I dont have lanolin, and it seems fine.

Pros: Smooth, beautiful, good weight, no static
Cons: Shouldn't get it too wet, international shipping

This is my favorite comb. I reach for it most of the time even though I have all sorts of good combs and brushes. It was perfect from day one, didn't need any sanding. Has a good weight in the hand and glides through the hair much better than plastic combs. I'm not sure if it's the best detangling comb, as mine doesn't tangle much, but it seems to be a very good all purpose comb.

I've been using it for two years and would recommend it for any type of hair. The only problem is I heard you shouldn't use it on wet hair so I haven't used it to comb wet hair. I'm sure it would work in wet hair as well but I don't want to risk warping it.

*Edited to say if I can rate this more than 10 I would. I bought some more to give as gifts, and so far it worked well for everybody's hair. It's great for DH's fine tangly hair, and great for my little guy's hair and great on mom's permed hair. Horn combs rule!

Pros: glides through hair
Cons: should not get wet

I have been without comb or brush since I joined LHC. I realize that my hair looks string with just finger combing so I decided to treat myself to this horn comb.

Pros: . No static and I have fine hair. It glides through hair I have less breakage. I use it after finger detangling on dry hair. I also use it after an oiling that way the comb also gets oiled. It just feels good

I also wanted to add that the service from this company is wonderful. In addition to the comb I ordered 2 horn pins. One was split on delivery. When I called I spoke to a very nice man who apologized and said to send an email ( he was away from the office) The very next day I get an email saying that the replacement is on its way I also got my first shipment very fast.

Cons: It should not get wet and the horn could break if dropped.

Pros: seamless
Cons: can't get wet

I love this comb! It is awesome for detangling, and glides right through my hair. It's great in the winter when my hair tends to get staticky. I bought mine at Milcreek Mercantile on Ebay, and it was slightly cheaper then buying it from HH. I oil it with unrefined coconut oil, and it seems to work fine. The only con is that you can't use it in wet or damp hair.

Pros: smooth, no static
Cons: none

I bought this from a LHC member back several years ago...so I don't remember what I paid for it.

I've been using it almost exclusively since then, with no regrets. It combs my fine hair without any snagging or breaking...wet or dry. It has handled me dropping it on the floor multiple times over the years.

I love the weight of this comb, heavy enough to feel adequate in your hand, but not so heavy that your hand gets tired.

The tines of this comb do a good job detangling my hair, and excellent for all purpose combing.

One thing that I loved about this comb was when I was experimenting with Water-Only, it really seemed to do a good job with maintaining my hair during that time.

Pros: Smooth, seamless, very pretty, durable
Cons:

I'm in love with this comb, it's perfectly seamless and smooth, I've dropped it a few times on carpet and it hasn't come close to breaking, it's a perfect weight, it's beautiful, the teeth are spaced perfectly apart, and it doesn't damage my hair at all. My comb is mostly black, so expect color variation if you buy this comb. I also had to sand a tiny part of the comb when I first got it, but it was no big deal. The teeth are not rounded at the edge like they appear in the picture on the website, but if you want them rounded you could easily sand it, the comb feels great on my scalp not sanded though. Go buy this comb!

Pros: horn, wide spacing, smooth
Cons: expensive

I purchased this upon joining LHC and seeing a review on it. The comb is indeed both aesthetically appealing and incredibly useful. I threw away my old, broken-tined plastic comb the day I got this one.
I use it on my wet or dry hair and have dropped it before, and it seems to hold up fine.
The only disadvantage I would list is the cost-- I purchased it directly from HH, and it was ~13.00 plus $6-7 for shipping even though I live in the states. An additional bonus, though, was a gift I received from HH upon the purchase of the comb -- tooth powder!

Pros: beautiful, glides through hair
Cons: shouldn't be used on wet hair or dropped

I purchased this comb a little over a week ago. The natural colors in it are amazing. I immediately fell in love with the beauty of it but hated it in my hair.

Some of the tines were too sharp for me until I filed them down. I resolved to try it for a week and see how I liked it. The more I combed my hair with it each day, the more I began to like it. Yesterday I realized that I actually really enjoy combing my hair with this.

I think I had to get used to the feel of something besides plastic combing through my hair in addition to "breaking the comb in" and letting it absorb some of the oils I use in my hair to help polish it up.

Definitely a comb I would recommend.

Pros: Well-spaced teeth. Fits nicely in hand. Big enough for lots of hair. Seamless and beautiful.
Cons: None.

I wish I had known about these sooner. I sanded down between the teeth just because I'm paranoid, but it was smooth. It took me some time to get used to the sound it makes when it goes through my hair. It's just different. But it didn't take me long to notice that for the first time in my life, there was no static. Also, the oil from my hair takes care of my comb. The more you use it, the better for both your hair, and the comb. Since then, I've bought another as a gift for a friend with fine hair and recommended it to three more people. All love their combs.

Pros: Gentle, glides and doesn't catch on strands
Cons: Not really a big deal, but needs some sanding for me

I completely adore these combs. I have never been able to get my wood comb sanded enough to not catch.
When I first buy these combs, they do snag on my fine whirly hair.
One little strip of ultra-fine sandpaper, on each side of the teeth, and smoothing out the tine, ends is all it takes to make this PERFECT. One day of sanding, for ages of blissful easy detangling, is not a problem.
I don't use any other combs except the horn ones from this company.
I buy these for all my close friends and family, they love them too.

Pros: Beautiful, glides well through hair
Cons: No wet hair, semi-delicate material

I LOVE my HH comb. It is my go-to comb for all combing needs.

It glides better than any of my other combs. It's heavy and durable and has lived through a number of drops of my tile floor. Every comb is unique and the horn material is beautiful.

It slide well through my hair when I first purchased it, but lately I tried sanding it. I still love the sanded comb, but it doesn't feel that different in my hair.

My only complaint is that the material IS a natural material and can never be perfect. It will also eventually degrade. My 3 year old comb is still going strong, but has developed a small split in one of the tines that sometimes grabs a hair or two. Sanding it helped the problem immensely, but I still have to make a conscious effort not to use that end of the comb most of the time.

Still, I would re-buy this comb in a heartbeat if my comb ever disappeared or got broken.
