Like the other Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo, I tried this about 2-3 years ago and my hair just didn't like it. I also decided to give this one another go, and was very very pleasantly surprised. My hair reacted completely differently to it. It cleans well, but doesn't strip. I've found I much more enjoy the scent of this one than I did 2-3 years ago (which also makes me wonder if they changed the formula slightly from the time I first tried it till now). After washing and conditioning with the Shampure line, my hair is soft, silky, shiny, and moisturized - even more so than with using the Rosemary Mint Aveda shampoo & conditioner.
I definitely highly recommend this one. And again - with the prices of many all natural products - this is a mix of some synthetic and some natural - but they work off the fair trade idea, and their ingredients are purchased from smaller communities, with a lean towards preservation of resources... so, for $9.00 a bottle, with their profits contributing towards charities, helping out the planet, and assisting smaller communities, plus, getting a really amazing product - this is well worth it.
