Gentle, wide-spaced bristles that don't have those balls on the ends

Haven't found any

I dreamed of this brush long before I found it. I was looking for a brush that had wider-spaced bristles (but not too wide). Also, I wanted a brush that didn't have the snaggy balls on the ends of the bristles. I didn't care what if it was plastic, metal, bone, or wood. But, I couldn't find it anywhere... Until I went into The Body Shop and saw this brush. It was love at first sight!
And, it is a dream to use. It glides gently through my hair. I even used it for a weekend when I had no comb and it was fine for detangling. I also like the fact that it is easy to clean. It's simple to remove shed hairs. And it says right on the packaging that if I want to clean it I just wash it in warm soapy water, rinse, and let it air dry. It's as low-maintenance as my hair!

from the website:
Help stimulate circulation while you brush.
To use: brush the hair from root to tip.
from the packaging:
DOUBLE ACTION BRUSH AND MASSAGE
Does your hair need a little extra help sometimes? This brush distributes your hair's natural oils through your hair to help keep it looking healthy and shiny. It also gently massages and stimulates your scalp, promoting healthy growth.
Wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse thouroughly and leave to dry naturally, away from direct heat.
Made from 100% well-managed forests.
The bristles on this brush are wooden. It works great for stimulating my scalp. Whether it stimulates growth I have no idea and I don't care LOL because it feels so dang good to use this! It works way better than my BBB with 1/4 metal bristles because this actually gets through the hair onto my scalp. I've used it with wet and dry hair. I've also used my TBS wooden comb on wet hair (have had that comb about a year now), and it's been fine so I have no issues using this wet. You can wash it with soap and water which is way cool. I would drop up to $25 on a brush like this, so $14 is worth it.

I happened upon a thread where ajoyfulnoise and others had raved about this brush so, I had to see what all the fuss was about. And let me tell you, I am forever grateful. I LOVE THIS BRUSH. It's gentle- I can gently brush from roots to ends and not snag my hair at all and the bristles feel great on my scalp ! Best $15 I've spent in a long time!

I don't brush my hair very often (maybe once a week?), but when I need to I have never really had a good brush to turn to. I used to use those cheapie dollar store brushes. You know the ones... plastic with the little balls on the ends of the bristles and snaggie... ewww. I bought this brush when my mother in law gave me a bodyshop gift card. I'm so impressed! I was actually so giddy after I used it that I went on a bit of a rampage, tearing around my house throwing away my vast accumulation of cheap horrible brushes.
Now I use it to brush my hair before night braiding (should I have the urge) and to massage my scalp. My husband has even let me start to brush his hair and massage his scalp now that he sees me doing it before bed every so often. Though he always rolls his eyes and pretends he doesn't want me to when I waggle the brush at him, he really loves it.
So the bottom line is, my husband and I both think this brush is wonderful!

I used a wooden brush for 10 years before I bought this one. I didn't realize how awful my old brush was. This one is well made and feels great on the scalp. I bought another one for hubby and he loves it, too. I have to admit those wooden brushes with little balls on the tip feel great on the scalp, too, but they don't glide through hair as easily.
The best thing about this brush is you can pick up one locally, see it and feel it first. No online ordering, no shipping cost or waiting.
