I wish this had a flip lid like HSH's pumpkin masque! And it doesn't work well for me in an SMT or as a mask-my hair loves this as a leave-in!
It has the consitancy of whipped shea until you squish it in your fingers; then its like coconut oil. You dont need much- I use 1/2 Tablespoon on my waist length hair as a leave-in. You need much more if youre using it as a mask (and then it isn't worth the price IMO). It conditions like shea but the oil texture allows it to get all over the length with ease. Leaves hair smooth and shiny! It smells very earthy, but mostly like rosemary. It goes great with the smell of Trader Joe's Refresh or Oyin Honey Hemp. My hair is so easy to detangle in the morning, and it behaves very nicely-without any fly-aways or frizziness! I am on my second jar-love this stuff!

Ingredients: Unrefined organic shea butter, organic oils of olive, coconut, and jojoba, calendula mixed herb infusion, essential oil blend, neem, vitamin E, rosemary OE.
Instructions (according to the label):
"Rub a little between palms and smooth through dry hair before shampooing. May also be used sparingly to tame frizz and add shine to hair."
As you can see from the label, this "deep conditioner" is not intended to be used as a typical "in shower" conditioner. I haven't tried it as a deep conditioner before a wash-- while this product isn't extremely expensive (normal price $12.35 for 2 ounces-- it is on sale right now, as it was when I purchased it), it is a lot more than I normally spend on conditioners and treatments for my hair, because I am a poor retail drone (and college student). As a result, slathering a lot of this stuff on at once is not an attractive option for me-- and I find my normal medium to heavy oiling before a wash with coconut oil is normally adequate for me.
But what this product is, for me, the best leave-in I've ever used. Bar none.
I use about a pea-sized amount on my between-shoulder-and-APL length hair. I honestly could probably use more-- I started out using much less, and slowly increased the amount-- I have never gotten greasy or unclean looking hair from applying too much of this-- now how often can I say that using oils, or even Fox's Shea Conditoning Cream?
This product gives me unbelievably soft hair-- even the ends! I am due for a trim (and have been for a while... and probably will be for a while!), but this makes my tangly, unhappy ends play nice with each other-- it makes my hair soft all the way down, and makes detangling considerably easier. It really does make my hair the softest I've felt it in recent memory, but it does not make it difficult to put into updos-- it's silky, but not so slippery that it falls out of updos.
It also gives me lovely shine, and it does somewhat reduce frizz or fuzzies... but I always have a few baby hairs sticking out, regardless.
I apply this after a shower: I wash (shampoo bars), use a citric acid rinse, and then condition, and rinse again. I put my hair in my Aquis turbie for anywhere from 5-30 minutes (I've found wetter hair works better for this leave-in-- It seems to seal in moisture better), then rub a pea-sized amount between my hands, and stroke it down the length, trying to concentrate on the ends. I'd agree with happylynngilmer on the texture-- if feels like whipped shea butter until you melt it in your hands, whereupon it quickly gets a silky, oily texture, similar (but different) to coconut oil.
It has a strong, but pleasant herbal smell-- I would agree that it smells most strongly of rosemary oil. The scent lingers in hair for a few days, but is subtle and pleasant-- you can only smell it if you are sniffing your hair (which I do with this stuff)! The scent is complimentary with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa condtioner (which has a fainter, herbal scent), but I also like to use fruity conditioners with it (Like Trader Joe's Refresh Citrus or VO5 pomegranate grapeseed), to make it a fruity herbal smell. My boyfriend likes the way this stuff smells, but he's always been a sucker for sweet smelling hair-- which is why I try to add use fruity conditoner in the shower. 
The packaging is a basic amber plastic jar with a screw-off lid-- not inspired, but very functional. The image on the website shows a jar that is quite a bit shorter than the ones that I have.
Another positive, in my opinion, is that this is produced by a small company (and a very nice one at that, I had ordered from them once before when I saw happylynngilmer's review at the old LHC, and wished I had tried their conditioner!), who supports using natural products. A disadvantage is that if you don't live nearby, you have to order online. They do have very prompt shipping, at a very reasonable rate-- they typically have $5 flat fee shipping via priority mail.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is unsatisfied with their current leave-in, and prefers cone-free, natural products. I'm so glad I decided to try this, it works much better than any other shea (and oil) leave-in I've tried!
