Red Sea is a beautiful hairstick featuring 3 pieces of cloisonne...a big round cobalt blue bead, a regal red egg-shaped bead, and a rich, lustrous joined fish whose scales ripple in a very natural way. This could be classified as a dangle, strand OR charm stick, and it is wonderfully rich-looking and very light, at only 15 grams. (For comparison, an egg weighs about 70 grams.)
The stick portion is wood, which I have painted red and glossed over with a top coat to which I've added a very slightly metallic pigment that makes it lustrous, to match the scales of the beautiful red fishie. The stick (just the wood portion, NOT the beads) is six inches long...perfect for even very large masses of hair.
PLEASE NOTE: The cloisonne used for Celtic Butterfly is genuine, and genuine cloisonne contains trace amounts of lead in the enamel, which means that this stick may not be suitable for children."

I got this as a gift (hence the $0 price). I absolutely love it. I've never seen anything quite like it. The beautiful fish moves realistically and jingles ever so slightly. The first time I wore it I got compliments.
My only complaint is that the stick isn't quite smooth enough for my tastes. But, that's nothing a coat of top coat nail polish won't take care of.
