When the fire's burning.
Samhain was the word used for a month in the ancient Celtic calendar, in particular the first three nights of this month, with the festival marking the end of the summer season and the end of the harvest. A modernized version of this festival continues today in some of the traditions of the Catholic All Souls' Day, the secular Halloween, and in folk practices of Samhain.
Built upon honey maple colored wood, this stick is topped with rings of antiqued pewter silver that uplift a sphere of amber crackle glass, which tosses light and sparkles as it moves. Capped with a quartet of pewter leaves, more sliver holds the crown of the stick, a lucite maple leaf caught in the height of its color.
Samhain's Blessing has a usable length of 5.25 inches and an overall length of 7 inches."

This stick reminds me of all the reasons I love autumn. The change, the colors, the smells, and the new nip in the air. It is absolutely beautiful. It can hold my thick hair up all on it's own. Another lovely work of art I am proud to have in my hair.
