"Description
Hina is a Butterfly Goddess of the Pacific Islanders known as the first woman. She lives in the moon, having traveled there on a rainbow path via the sun. She is a messenger, a carrier of news and creator of ideas, her whispered messages brought on the flitting wings of a butterfly.
Built upon deep redwood colored wood, stick is topped with a flat quartz disk, flanked on either side with silver pewter. A vine-embossed pewter pear uplifts a hand-carved quartz butterfly. Perhaps with this in your hair you may hear the whispers of Hina.
The stick has an overall length of 7 inches and a usable length of 5.25 inches."

I recieved this stick as a gift, that's why the price is $0.00. I absolutely love this stick and enjoy wearing it with denim (in a denim and pearls tribute). It is so, so much more beautiful and detailed than the pictures show. My only regret in wearing it is that I can't stare at it!
The whole stick is smooth, no snags. It's the perfect length and then end is sharp enough to get through my hair, but not pointy enough to hurt me (a definate plus!). The white stands out in my brown hair and the stick blends in, making the butterfly appear to hover over my bun.
