Pros: Great color with no chemicals!
Cons: Henna is messy of course!

I use this to cover my incoming grays, which are about 10% of my hair right now. It provides a rich dark brown with no red, which I like. The grays blend right in beautifully.

Here's before and after pics:

I am able to find this locally so no shipping costs, which is great. It is also available on Amazon, for folks who can't find it locally. When doing just a roots touch-up, I only use half the jar which is very economical. You can just store the other half of the jar in the cupboard till next time.

I really like the color, even compared to more expensive BAQ henna and indigo bought online. With those I tended to still get red, even when adding amla. This just gives me a nice dark brown.

FYI, it will darken with additional applications, so if you don't want black, be sure to do roots-only once you have the color you like.

Pros: no mixing, can get local, NO RED!
Cons: I need 2 jars for full head application, Indigo is larger-sized chunks

I found this locally, and love it. I have also tried Moroccon Method and Mehandi, and like this best. Absolutelty no red. This makes a very dark brown. Gray coverage not the best, but I'm willing to sacrifice it for the overall color I recieve. I also add a tsp of salt. I add hot water and DO NOT WAIT for dye release. Leave on an hour at least.
I will continue to repurchase!
