Pros: Soft, shiny hair with fantastic detangling and no silicone
Cons: price

This is the product my hair has been longing for, quite literally it has changed my relationship with my hair.
I have rather brittle, very dry, mouse to blonde hair which used to tangle instantly and that had a constant birds nest at the nape if I left it down for more than a minute. Every morning and evening there I'd be with my comb carefully separating the tangles.
Now I only have to comb once a day, even if I left my hair down and it takes two minutes not half an hour. My hair is actually soft and sometimes even shiny! This is a revelation for me.
The product is supposed to be used weekly but as I only wash my hair once a week it's all I use. I use about a tablespoon on my mid back length hair and that covers every strand from root to tip. After a couple of minutes I rinse and it feels like I'm just rinsing out the tangles. Seriously for dry, brittle, damaged hair I think this is fantastic. Not sure what it would be like for those of us who have shiny healthy hair already but if you have the same problems as me I would recommend trying it unreservedly (also it smells really good).

After such a glowing report there naturally have to be some negatives. The main one is the price. Although I only go through a small bottle every three months that is still £6/month, and I'm aware most people wash their hair more often than I do. The bigger bottle lasts about a year and so is much better value £3.05/month but if you're trying it for the first time your not going to want to invest £36!
Also I'm not entirely convinced by all the ingredients:

water, extracts: sea buckthorne, alfalfa leaf powder, linseed oil, cetearyl alcohol, cyclopentasiloxane, stearalkonium chloride, behentrimonium chloride, phenyl trimethicone, quaternium-80, glycerine, stearyl alcohol, castor seed oil, jojoba seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, sea buckthorne oil, fusanus spicatus wood oil, olive fruit oil, quinoa seed extract, barley extract, phellodendron amurense bark extract, tocopherol, babassuamidopropyltrimonium, methosulfate, dimethiconol meadowfoamate, hydroxyethylcellulose, polyquatemium-10, fragrance, Limonene, linalool, citronellol, citric acid, sodium cluconate, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone

However this is still the product I would recommend above all others, whenever I try another conditioner I come scurrying back to this one - hence I have a cupboard full of nearly full conditioners that I know I will never use.

Pros: Excellent Product, Does Use Alot of Natural Plant Extracts & Oils, Smells Wonderful, Works Great, Nice Texture!
Cons: Price, May Be Available Online Only For Some

I usually only use oil on my hair after I wash my hair, but I needed some protein plus moisture, and some sort of cuticle sealant, so this brand seemed like a good choice. It is not 100% natural, but Aveda does try to keep it as close to natural as they can and still make their products work well. I bought this from their website and was very worried that it wouldn't work, especially since I paid a good chunk of cash for it.
When I got it, I couldn't smell the scent, so assumed it had none. But when you get it in the shower, it smells divine! I usually don't use silicones, and this does have alittle in it, but it works so well! If your hair hates protein, then this may not be the stuff for you, although it doesn't go overboard with it, and has plenty of moisturizer in it to combat dry locks. It made my hair like silk and stronger too, plus the shine it leaves is great too. I only use it once a week, because I'm trying to stretch it, and like I said, it has a good amount of protein, I don't want my hair to get too much of that. It is THE best commercial hair treatment I have ever bought, and would recommend it to those who are trying to prevent damage, and those that are starting to see signs of damage.

Pros: light scent, smooth feeling bottle, nice ingredients, great overall reviews
Cons: very light treatment, didn't do anything magnificent for my damaged ends, expensive, not a lot in bottle, cones/protein

This product gets fantastic reviews offsite and the above. My favorite hairstylist recommended this product to me along with the shampoo after I made her severely bleach my hair to white and then wanted help with it. She told me only to use these products and often use this conditioner since my hair needed it.

You can sleep with this product in overnight if you hair is severely damaged and use it as a leave-in but my hair didn't like it as a leave-in. Using this as a deep treatment it didn't do anything significant to my damage, in fact I barely felt it was helping it at all. It is very light (not necessarily a con) and doesn't feel like it penetrates or detangles my hair at all. These are two products I find sitting around hoping I can use up eventually to get rid of. The shampoo has cones as well and I like to use it when I need an extra boost of cones for my damage.

I would not repurchase but would recommend it as a light treatment/conditioner. Redken All Soft Heavy Cream triumphs.
It was fairly expensive and all of the advice/oils/cheaper products I've learned about here at LHC work much better than this and I never find myself reaching for aveda damage remedy. I sometimes will use this as regular conditioner but it's not my favorite. It may work better for different hair types or someone without significant damage. It is just not for me.

PS: I have very fine thin hair and used this product both with severe damage and with healthier hair 6 months later
