I have used this shampoo by itself with no conditioner for over a year. My DH uses it too. We love it. It cleans so well, without being harsh on the scalp. It has Ammonium Myreth Sulfate instead of Sodium Laurel Sulfate. AMS is supposed to be milder on the scalp and skin, and has been in my experience. It is mild yet cleans my oily hair and scalp very well, leaving a great shine.
DH and I also love that it is unscented and needs no conditioner!
