I made the mistake of buying the queen helene, not realizing it was "Softee" that i liked. Unlike the queen helene cholesterol, though both contain mineral oil, this one is lighter, MUCH lighter, and doesnt leave the hair greasy or heavy, and the fresher scent fades nicely and is not cloying.
Nice creamy consistency that lightly "foams" creamy when applied to damp hair. I find it also busts up build up (oddly enough) and rinses completely clean, no need to shampoo out the "grease" afterward. Makes my hair, as my husband says "Like Buttah".
Intensifies shine, and super moisturizing, Love love love. I am not a fan of mineral oil in general, but in this product I have no problems with it. Doesnt flatten hair, hair feels "yummy" for days afteward IMHO.
