Pros: INEXPENSIVE - Great ingredients, Smells nice
Cons: none

I'd seen this item several times and actually picked up the bottle on the store shelf the other day and read the ingredients. I was pretty impressed, I know all the ingredients. It smells vaguely like baby oil, but nicer. I have tried it on damp and dry hair, both worked really well. Just three drops, and it didn't feel oily or heavily weighed down. Washed out well.

Damp hair was great to put it on, dried incredibly soft, and still smelled good, even with a few drops.

I HIGHLY recommend this product, especially for new users to oil who can't afford the exasperative prices of Coconut oils and health food store oils. Its good stuff, in an affordable package. There is plenty of it too, I think it will take me two years to use it all.

Pros: Works great, very moisturizing, cheap
Cons: Has a very strong baby oil scent to it, wish it was unscented.

The bottle is big, at such a low price. I thought it wouldnt work well but it does. Just have to use very little cause it smells very very strong. The ingredients are great. I really really really like this oil. I highly recommend. Plus hello! Cheap! Lol.

Pros: price; very moisturizing; easy to get
Cons: smell; takes forever to absorb

The best thing that I can say for this oil is it's very inexpensive. As a poor college student, price is a major factor in almost everything I buy. It is also very easy to get; you can find it at Wal-Mart, some drug stores, and places like Family Dollar. It's also very moisturizing.

On the down side: the SMELL! It's very strong and clashes horribly with my body chemistry. No matter how little I use, the scent is overwhelming. While I can almost ignore it after it's been on there for a while, the people around me can not stand it. The smell often lingers for hours after the oil dries before it finally starts fading away, and it takes hours for it to dry. I end up smelling like baby oil for an entire day. I could live with it because it's good for my hair, but for the sake of the people who live with me, I'm going to try something else.

Pros: works great - widely available- inexpensive- smells good
Cons: none

I love this stuff! I bought two bottles for about $2.00 each at Wal~Mart, and have been using it almost every day since.

I poured about half of the first bottle into another little bottle with a smaller dropper-top, because two tiny drops is enough for my tailbone-length hair.

Recently I've been addings a few drops to my bathwater, too, because I love the smell. It's strong, but for me it dissipates quickly and hasn't been a problem.

I also occasionally use coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil and jojoba oil, but I use this every single day whether I use something else or not.

Pros: Great price, great product
Cons: the scent is a little strong

This is actually a great product and very inexpensive. The only downside, is the scent. Although I don't mind the scent of baby powder, I would rather not have it in my hair. This oils soaks right in and my hair does not feel greasy. I've also used it in a bath and really liked that it moisturized my skin and hair. I am going to try adding a scented oil to it and see if it helps.

Pros: nice natural ingredients, inexpensive, readily available
Cons: none

I love the fact that it contains so many nice oils and extracts (Walnut, Kiwi, Olive, Carrot, Jojoba, Sweet Almond, Cucumber, Sage, Aloe, and Castor Seed Oil to name a few). I use this for heavy overnight oilings. A couple of years ago (before I started buying so many new oils to try) I used this almost exclusively each night before going to bed. I slept with it in my hair and showered it out the next morning. It did improve the texture, shine, and manageability of my hair. I now only use it every once and a while because I own so many other butters and oils for the hair. However, this one is inexpensive, readily available, and a great oil to start with for people on a limited budget or just experimenting with oils for the first time.

Pros: Wide range of oils
Cons: Smells like baby oil

I wanted to try oiling again to fend off dryness and any future damage. I read a post where someone was commenting about Africa's Best and then ordered some. I put an amount about the size of a quarter on my hair and then bunned it. It washes out fine. I honestly don't know if it is working or not, really, I imagine any oil you put on your hair affords it some kind of protection and this stuff is inexpensive and lasts forever.

Pros: works great, great smell, long-lasting, a LOT of product
Cons: none

This is the only oil I use! It works great for my hair, I love the smell, and it lasts forever. I use as much as I can get out with two tilts of the bottle into my palms, 2-3 times a week, and the bottle I have has lasted me months.

It also works great as a adhesive remover, used on skin as a replacement to a lotion, or to oil my bone plugs (my ears are stretched). I've also used it (with great success) to get gum out of my hair!

Pros: lots of great oils in one product, can't beat the price
Cons: strongly scented (but I like that, and it can be masked with EO's)

When I first discovered LHC and started learning about oils, I went on a search in my small town for something to use. I found this, read the back of the bottle, and thought, "Well, all that stuff sounds great, but surely this is too good to be true." It isn't. There are TONS of awesome oils in this product, and it's so inexpensive! If this was packaged/made by a "fancier" company, it undoubtedly would cost 10 times as much. I'm glad it doesn't, because it's nice for everyone to be able to afford a good hair oil.

I use this primarily for heavy overnight oilings, and often mix it 1/2 and 1/2 with Virgin Coconut Oil. Sometimes I also add in EO's (my favorite mix is Lavender, Ylang Ylang, and Sweet Orange), but I also do that when I use Coconut Oil on its own. The smell washes out when you wash the oil out, and you're left with soft, silky, shiny hair.

I'll continue buying this forever, I imagine!
