Description: Under 3 dollars usually for a 16 oz bottle, this shampoo can make up to 2 gallons of shampoo, depending on how you like your concentration/dillution. Generally found at Sally's beauty supply (usually on the bottom shelf in the general shampoo section in funky green bottle).

Light minty fragrance and cooling on the scalp, can be super dilluted, but doesnt lather like regular shampoo. Some might find it drying, but adding in glycerine or mixing in other EO's or conditioner to the mix can negate the problem.

I generally mix with vegetable glycerine (two or three drops) and prefer a heavy dillution. I appreciate the minimal ingredients and the cost effectiveness.

Pros: Inexpensive, minimal ingredients, no silicone
Cons: can be drying, very low lather

Definately worth the investment if you are looking for a simple clean shampoo without silicones and a lot of ingredients.

Pros: cost, smell, cleaning
Cons: slightly drying

I really like the smell of this shampoo, light and minty. I usually dilute my shampoo's and just about every time, this shampoo is in the shampoo mix. It cleans well, and I like the way it makes my hair feel.

Pros: smell, no sls, works, cheap, will never run out of, good for air travel
Cons: smell, has propylene glycol (for those who worry about that), color kind of funky looking

I don't like this as much as my other shampoo, and I CO half the time, but when I use it it works. Sometimes it's frustrating as the dilution makes it hard to spread in my hair (and I'm using a squirt bottle with measuring lines!). But it does work, and it will last forever. A gallon of shampoo for 3 bucks plus the cost of the bottle is really not a bad deal at all. It also works well as a makeup brush cleaner, and multi-tasking products are good. It is kind of a pain to mix, though.

When I do my study abroad in Spain this summer, I'll be able to pack the empty squirt bottle and a 1 oz. bottle of the concentrate in my carry-on, saving the precious rest of the liquid allotment for contact solution and conditioner. (I'm not gonna risk not being able to find no-cones there, will probably end up checking condish just the same.)

Pros: Love the smell, love that it's a concentrate, no toxic ingredients
Cons: not available everywhere

I love the smell of this shampoo. It took me back.
I remember going to the beauty shop either as a child
or a teenager and smelling this same shampoo.

I like that it doesn't have a lot of lather. It's very easy to
rinse out.
It also gives my hair a lot of fullness and body.
It feels clean without feeling stripped.

I follow up with Giovanni Direct Leave In and my hair
has never felt softer, thicker or fuller.

It just feels wonderful!
I have discovered my "Holy Grail" of products.

Thanks to everyone here on LHC who has recommended
this shampoo.
I would never have discovered it without you!
