The price includes shipping. The 2oz bottle I bought was only $4.50.
I used this in CWC for a few weeks to rid my scalp of flakies naturally. I diluted this 20:80 in a 2oz squeeze bottle. Put Trader Joe's refresh on the length, then squeezed this on my scalp. Massaged in. Lathered nicely, and tangled a bit, rinsed easy, then I conditioned again with TJ's Refresh. I used Manor Hall conditioner as a leave-in.
Smells like herbally citrus-a very pleasant earthy scent. Smell only lingers as long as my hair is wet. My hair was soft as if I was COing instead. It did not strip all of the oil and subum like Head and Shoulders did-it just took away all the excess. This is rather expensive, but since I dilute it, it works out to be a drug-store shampoo in price. I wish it was a pump rather than a squeeze bottle, too-the product is EXTREMELY thick, and used undiluted just goops up in one spot in my hair. After I finished my 2oz bottle, I did not repurchase because it did not rid my scalp of flakies like I hoped it had. But this is a great shampoo if you're looking for a vegan, gentle shampoo!
I did not use in conjunction with the conditioner.

Pros:	Smells fantastic, very gentle, helped dry flaking scalp
Cons:	High price, not available locally, had to order online

Cost above reflects the 8.8oz bottle and s&h ($14 + $5.95 s&h).

Great product, very gentle and leaves my SO's scalp clean and flake-free, but not over stripped. Wonderful earthy scent. Would have given it a $10 if it wasn't so expensive for so little
