I love this brush because its great for detangling my hair. It is very gentle, and the price is great for a good brush. I paid around $7.99. Great for people who want to have a good quality gentle brush, but need something that costs less. It is probably easily available. I know walgreens.com sells it.

Pros:
easy to use, bristles spaced far apart, gentle
Cons:
could imagine it would be hard to clean the inside

This is a pretty good brush. It's a basic paddle brush with the squishy base being under a hard plastic shell. As far as I remember, the bristles don't have the little knobs at the end that peel off. I wish I could find mine! I definitely will pick up another one!

Pros:
for plastic brushes, this one is good
Cons:
may rip hair, balls on end of plastic pins, dirt can get into base and it is hard to clean

This was my main brush before I switched to wooden brushes. I do believe that this brush is gentler than many other plastic brushes out there. That being said, I did get a good amount of ripped hair out sometimes when using this brush. The plastic balls on the end of the pins may contribute to hairs getting caught or ripped but I am not sure about this. Also, as a previous reviewer noted the brush is hard to clean well because their are air spaces between the pin base and the inside which is hollow so water tends to get trapped in there. The best way I found to clean this brush when it got gunk/build up on it was to soak it in the sink with some SLS shampoo and hot water. This would work well at removing build-up but did leave the hollow inside wet with soapy solution and bubbles... eventually it will drain and dry out. I would recommend this brush only to a person who feels it is necessary to brush but does not like wooden brushes. I would recommend the Goody Jojoba Infused brush over this brush because it is gentler and does not have balls on the pins. I would also recommend a Denman plastic brush over this one. To those open to other non-plastic methods of brushing, I would recommend wooden brushes or seamless combs.
