Pros: clean scent, cleans well without overstripping, great for pre-henna
Cons: May be hard to find, more expensive than drugstore products

I use this at full-strength on my hair for a pre-henna treatment to make sure that all the oils are off to keep it from inhibiting dye uptake. Does a great job at that without overstripping.

It is supposed to help bring out natural highlights, but with my henna, it'd take a lot more than just a shampoo to do that. Perhaps someone else with virgin hair can comment more on that

Pros: Lovely smell, not too stripping
Cons: Very little lather (must add water)

£6 is rather expensive for a shampoo, but in London all of these sort of "Organic" ones are that much.

I didn't buy the Conditioner because at that stage I was cone free. I'm going to get it when I have a windfall because I like the shampoo.

It definitely gets rid of the nasty stuff I build up every once in a while, and it doesn't strip out my hair either. It seems a rather gentle clarifying method to me which is good.

I didn't notice any effect of bringing out highlights either, and I do have virgin hair. Perhaps that is a function of the combined shampoo+conditioner.

Pros: great smell, very clarifying, little goes a long way
Cons: expensive

I really like this and I use it once a month or so to clarify. It's very clarifying, but does not strip every bit of moisture or oil out of your hair (think Giovanni Golden wheat). I also like that the first ingredient is lemon peel and the next chamomile. There's lots of natural, organic and good for you things in this shampoo. It is expensive, but I expect this bottle to last me a year. Found at most health food stores and the 'organic' section of regular grocery stores.
