Pros: Thick, Adds shine
Cons: Not very moisturizing

I've been intrigued by this conditioner since the day I first saw it at Wegmans, and I finally decided to try it. Henna did such wonderful things for my hair, so I figured a conditioner with henna would probably be great, too.

Well, the conditioner wasn't bad, but it wasn't as great as the bottle proclaims. My biggest problem was that my hair was not very moisturized after using it, and my hair needs lots of moisture. My hair was shiny afterwards, but only a little bit more than usual. If it was more moisturized, I imagine there would have been more shine. Perhaps it would work well during an SMT?

Pros: Cleansing, great for CO washing, cone free
Cons: Smells horrid, wouldn't condition at all after a true wash.

I would strongly recommend it for CO washing. It's one of the few conditioners I know that actually foams. It is very cleansing. It smells horrid though.

It would be horrible after a shampoo wash because it is not moisturizing at all. It's not the worst out there though. It doesn't leave my hair greasy! XD

Pros: Rich formula, good for shower detangling, decent smell (kind of?)
Cons: Smell takes some getting used to.

This conditioner detangles well, which is needed after using the matching shampoo. The smell isn't great at first, but I got used to it. The rich formula is a plus- I'm not a fan of the runnier conditioners. However, I don't think it was worth the price I paid (I got it at Whole Foods).

Pros: good basic every day conditioner
Cons: not terribly moisturizing

This conditioner is decent and it's good for every day use if you're worried about overcondtioning. I don't use it after I wash my hair because I like a little more moisture after a wash, but on day 2 or 3 it's pretty good. It doesn't weigh my hair down and leaves it shiny and easy to detangle. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I actually like the way it smells. It smells kind of like a fruity flower.

Pros: excellent shine
Cons: not actually a conditioner

I read the reviews before I tried it, and while I don't do a lot of conditioner only washes these days (due to hard water) my hair does like it. I'd describe this product as a low-poo. It lathered pretty easily, even in my hard water. It doesn't lather as much as a conventional shampoo, but there are also a lot more bubbles than many conditioners produce.

Per my usual CO washes, I started by fingercombing the product into my wet length. My hair is currently around 32" long, so I used a small palmful to start. This was enough to get my length and work some lather up towards my scalp. The texture was still fairly conditioner-like, so I added a splash of water. That got it to lather fully, and it let me work it higher onto my scalp. Definitely wasn't enough on my scalp, so I added a small dollop, worked that in, and splashed it with water for lather.

I left the product on my hair for the rest of my shower tasks, and rinsed more thoroughly than I usually would. I often leave in conditioner, but this product did not feel particularly conditioning once it lathered. It was a lot more like I had shampoo in, and shampoo often leads to tangles on me unless I'm very careful. This tried, but did not succeed, so it got an extensive rinse out.

I did my usual diluted vinegar rinse after that, and added my Alba Botanica leave-in conditioner. My hair handled better than usual when wet. About 12 hours later with mostly dry hair, I have tons of shine, and my hair is softer than usual. The baby hairs in my halo are smooth and sleek instead of floating in a huge hazy halo around my head.

In addition to the lather, this product is pretty heavy on a wide variety of proteins. My hair tends to get on with protein, so I'll use it fairly often. The product is a milky white, so there is not enough henna extract added to provide color. It does feel like it might be a good vehicle for a henna gloss tho.
