Description:

Our traditional, shea butter based African Black Soap gently cleanses without stripping your hair of its natural oils. This enriching formula contains Virgin Coconut Oil for extra hydration, Rooibos Tea Extract to encourage new hair growth and improve overall hair condition, and Pro-Vitamin B5 and Wheat Protein to strengthen and repair damaged hair. For normal to dry hair. 8 oz.

Care and Use

To Use: Apply to wet hair, and massage into a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly and condition. For best results, use with Shea Butter & Coconut Enriching Hair Lotion. Keep unused shampoos in cool and dark location.

Pros:	moisturizing, easy to apply, non-drying gentle enough to use daily
Cons:	price

I found Aliffia shampoo to be an excellent choice for my hair. It is very gentle. The main cleansing ingredient is Decyl Polyglucose (not Cocoamydopropyl Betaine.)

I find it gentle enough to use daily on my scalp. Typically I only wash my scalp. However, after weekly heavy oilings or accidental application of coney product my length still did not seem stripped of moisture after use.

I plan to try other shampoos in the Aliffia line. I purchased it at Whole Foods during a sale. Typical price is $12.

I have used it with the corosponding Aliffia conditioner and it worked well. Typically I follow the shampoo with Giovanni or EO conditioner.
