Pros: moisturizing
Cons: mineral oil, wax

I usually stay away from Garnier products because they always dried out my hair. I later discovered this was probably because of silicones in their products. After seeing a commercial for the new Triple Nutrition line, I decided to at least look into the new products.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the conditioner and deep treatment were both silicone-free. The shampoo does contain one silicone. My hair was feeling dry after a henna treatment, so I decided to bring home the deep treatment first. It does contain some ingredients that some people won't like: mineral oil and wax (cetyl esters). The wax is made from coconuts, though!

The treatment is very thick and smells great. The presence of the apricot seeds is kind of weird... they don't seem to really serve a purpose and just make things a little gritty. However, they rinsed out of my fine, straight hair with ease. I shampooed with an SLS shampoo and then left the treatment on my length for about 30 minutes. When I rinsed it out, my hair felt very slick (probably because of the wax) and smelled great. Once my hair was dry, it was very moisturized and shiny. Not as nice as the models' hair in the commercial, but it felt good.

It was on the expensive side - it was $4.68 at Walmart for 8.5 oz (250 ml), but I have paid more for deep treatments. And compared to other conditioners with natural ingredients and oils, it's actually on the cheap side.

Pros: Moisture, softness, able to use as Leave-in, DT, rinse out, etc.
Cons: None--but the mineral oil might bother some

It's great. That's really all I can say.

Also, those aren't apricot seeds--it does have apricot seeds, but it's apricot seed EXTRACT. The beads are actually cetyl esters, which are derived from coconut oil, I think. Some dissolve on contact, and they're usually there for moisture pruposes, I think.

Pros: Easy application, fantastic results
Cons: Hair looked a little "flat"

I love this product! I decided to give it a try to baby my poorly-treated/handled ends as I try to grow out my hair. It's easy to apply, there's no obnoxious scent, and rinse-out is quick and easy, unlike some treatments I've tried. My hair feels smooth and soft. The only "downside" I could find is that my hair looked a bit "flat" as it dried. I'm sure it won't be a problem as my hair gets longer and I start braiding it more.
