Pros: cone-free, nice natural scent, cheap, great for rinsing out henna
Cons: not a lot of herbal extracts, cheaper ingredients, no protien

I rated this product an 8, but really, it depends on what you want to use this for.

A light, thinner conditioner this gets a 10 for aiding in rinsing out henna/cassia mud. The scent is light and plays well with the henna smell rather than trying to smother it with something utterly dissimilar (like strawberries or something). Inexpensive and releativly easy to find, this is by far my favorite drugstore conditioner.

I rated it a 8 because while it is great for COing out henna, it is not a great moisturizing or nourishing conditioner. Not bad, just not great. Its thinner consistency requires using more, which somewhat negates the cost savings of it's initial lower price. There are also fewer natural ingredients than are found in most health food store products, and I feel that it is less effective on the scalp than a light shampoo with beneficial herbal extracts.

Pros: Inexpensive, good scent, lightweight
Cons: a bit thin

though the above description says it contains soy protein, my bottle (and ingredient list) doesnt seem to have it. I have protein sensitive hair, but this gives me no problems.

I switch this off with other conditioners (or none at all) and for fine hair, its an excellent conditioner. I mostly use it in henna glosses, it has a wonderful tendancy to "kill" henna's smell.

Pros: cheap, lightly scented, perfect for CO washing, easily found in stores
Cons: none IMO

This is my favorite conditioner for COing. I CO washed from July-December 2007, currently I S&C with a CO every few washes for extra moisture. It smells very pleasant, and light. It washes out easily, no residue, and provides light moisture so as to not weigh down my i/ii hair. It's available at every store I shop at, and even though one bottle only lasts about a month, for a buck who can complain?
Dh uses this regularly as his conditioner-his hair is i, and too much moisture makes it tangly and stringy.

Pros: smells sooooo good and calming, light, washes out easily, cone-less
Cons: not always available

I adore this conditioner from V05 because it really does calm me down from the scent. It is one of the lighter conditioner, as in it washes out easily, but it definitely does the job of detangling and leaving hair soft.

Pros:
Cons: watery

This was a very watery conditioner that I seemed to go through really fast. It also didn't do to well in the moisture department; so this would prob be go for CO if you don't want a ton of mositure.

Pros: Cheap, cleans well and lightly if you're looking for something for CO or the first C in CWC
Cons: Not great for the traditional role of hair treatment you might expect from a conditioner

This product is wonderful if you're looking for a conditioner that cleans. I use it regularly as the first conditioner in my CWC washes. It has a thin consistency that rinses out easily. It does a good job at cleaning the length after a deep oil treatment. It gives good slip without using 'cones. The flip-top bottle is easy to use. The scent is light, and I find it pleasant.

If you're looking for a moisturizer treatment or a protein treatment, this is not the choice for you. But it's perfect where you need a conditioner to get your length clean.

Pros: Best all-round CO conditioner I've tried
Cons: Not rich enough without some kind of leave-in or oil.

This is a conditioner that can cleanse and nourish (for CO).

I do start with DRY hair, so I use like 1/3 of a regular sized bottle.

I love it for travel because I don't need anything else besides this, a little aloe gel and coconut oil to finish.
