Pros: heavy cream makes it easy to apply
Cons: smell, lack of detangling, hard to rinse clean

The product suggests you use it before shampooing so maybe that is where I'm going wrong. I don't like pre-shampoo treatments aside from overnight oiling. Instead I used it as a deep conditioner which makes it hard to rinse out and not very good for detangling.

Pros: conditioning, thick, mostly natural
Cons:

This product works well IME, but *only* if you use if before shampooing/cowashing. It's not meant for use as a regular conditioner, when I used it that way my hair turned out feeling coated and kind of "gummy" feeling. If you use it correctly it works very well though! It has a brazil nut scent that I like, but those who prefer unscented stuff might be bothered by it.
