Pros: Price, sturdiness, comfort, staying power
Cons: Not for very long or very thick hair

IMO these beak clips are ideal everyday, budget or beginner hair toys. They are easy to put in and remove yet stay in place well due to the teeth. The plastic has some flexibility but the overall construction is sturdy for the price (under £2 each inc. postage). Could be used for a messy bun, ponytail, half up, French twist; as they are smooth plastic they seem gentler and more comfortable than a metal barrette.

Pros: Light, affordable, comfortable
Cons: Not a very wide range of colors and/or designs

I am so happy to see this product. I have several of the first type of clip and LOVE them. To me they are very similar to Ficcare's except they are much more comfortable and affordable. I had a hard time with the Ficcare clips because I found them heavy and they pulled my hair. In my opinion these clips are much more comfortable (although I will admit not as pretty as the Ficcare's). I purchased four of these through the Hair Boutique under Camila of Paris and I also purchased a jeweled one through Amazon under Cubitas. I simply love them and highly recommend them.
