Pros:
Wooden quills, good quality.
Cons:
Varnish eventually wears off (with enough mistreatment), moderately expensive.

I'm on my second Woodyhog brush, after severely mistreating my first one (it held out for three years). I use it after fingercombing to smooth my hair down, and compared to the plastic brushes I used to use, I get far less static with this one. It's seamless, and the wood is nicely finished. The quills do sometimes come out, but can normally be pushed back into place. When I retired my first Woodyhog, it was missing five quills, which after three rough years seems pretty good to me. I'd love to see them come out with a paddle brush in the same range, but until then, I'll happily keep buying these brushes.
