USDA Organic Amla Powder
Amla is a natural plant: Emblica Officinalis. The dried, powdered fruit has tannins, vitamin C, and is astringent. Amla adds texture, volume, wave, curl and shine to your hair. This herb is widely used in India for it's natural hair growth property, and you will find it often in hair oils, and herbal hair recipes. When used along with henna, it tones down the reddish dye, and when used alone it does not have dyeing properties. Scrub your face and body with amla for a glowing, and clean complexion.

Great Conditioning/Tempering Addition to Henna Mix

I add this Amla to my henndigo mix, and really like the results. It is fresh, and does a good job toning down the bright orangy tones if that is not what you're going for. Don't get me wrong it won't eliminate it all together, henna has very strong dye. I have read the word "tempers" the henna, and I think this is accurate. It is an indian herb, and I think it also is very good for your hair/scalp in terms of condition and growth. Do some research. I love it, and apply it at least once a month. My hair is stronger, shinier and healthier. The price is for 200g. The Henna Sooq has been very reliable in terms of product quality and shipping time. Highly recommended.
