Pros:

Left hair silky for awhile and great slip
Cons:
moisture overload

I used to love this conditioner, but not some of the effects. Its a great thick conditioner that last a good while. However I think it adds to much moisture; which left me with stringy hair when dry. This is great for people who like cones. My hair doesn't like cones which is why I gave this a higher rating.Warning do not use as a leave in. It left my hair super gunky and greasy.

It is amazing how different products work for different people. I cannot use this stuff, but DH has been using it for over 10 years on his curls (he also washes every other day) and they look lucious and boingy!

Personally, I tried Mane N Tail but it wasn't really for me so I returned it. I shouldn't review it too low as I didn't give the whole bottle a chance. Although, I had tried it way back as a teenager and wasn't too impressed. I thought maybe now as an adult I'd like the formula better but I didn't. Which is unfortunate, because it claims it can do some amazing things. I gave it a five, because I don't feel it would be fair for me to rate it lower as I didn't give it an extensive chance. However, the list of ingredients also put me off... I'd rather have more natural/organic oils and extracts in my hair care products. Also, I'm trying to stay away from cones.

I buy the big bottles of both the shampoo and conditioner and KMart for about $5 each. I'm a 1c/2a M/C ii and it works great for me. I haven't used it in a year or so, but that's because I buy big bottles and I like to rotate. My hair liked it even in terrible hard water, but definately in soft water.
