Pros: sizes, colors, easy to wear, nearly unbreakable
Cons: the full price, CA tax when bought online

These things are virtually indestructable. My cat even managed to run of with it and I found it in one piece. This holds like a rock in my hair. The hairstyles are easy to do and it really takes the 'do to a whole new level of elegant accessorizing. Perfect for the office or a hot date with dh!

With a discount code or in a group order is my preferred way to purchase, but even if I could have found a code I would've paid full price for my second one. I reach for this everyday as my "default" 'do keeper. HG status.

ETA 4/13/08: I ran on the treadmill yesterday, with a XL holding a classic bun. Not a hair was out of place! My hair was a fortress, and the flexi was the crocodile-filled moat. Nothing in, and nothing out!

Rated a 9 for price only.

Pros: Super grip, attractive, lots of possibilities
Cons: Pulls hair

I absolutely love my flexi 8. Its one of the only hair toys I own that I know I can always get my hair to agree with. However, it tends to pull on individual hairs quite a bit and sometimes gives me a headache.
The have tried to help with sizing, but I still ended up ordering a size smaller than I should have for my thickness/length.

Pros: not "blingy" at all, very simple but gorgeous
Cons: I can't find them anywhere(not even craft fairs here)but online

I have a medium Flexi8 Celtic Knot.I'm still getting used to using it but once I get it in my hair-it stays like crazy.Mine arrived over this past weekend and I worn it up in a french twist while cleaning my house. It never moved!

Pros: simple & elegant design, variety, very sturdy, secure hold
Cons: online only, may pull hair

I received my first Flexi-8 as a birthday present and I absolutely love it! I really like the simple design and it is very nice for dressing up a hairstyle or creating a more elegant look. I use my Flexi-8 mainly when I do cinnabuns and log rolls. It can sometimes take a couple of tries to get the right hold without pulling but once you do, it will not budge!

Pros: Holds well, beautiful, more affordable than some hair toys.
Cons:

I love my Flexi8 but bought it one size smaller than I should have. It holds well but I can only use it in a few updos, so I don't wear it that often. These things are way more affordable than some of the other hair toys available online and just as sturdy. I definitely plan to buy a large when I can justify the purchase of more hair toys.

Pros: Relatively cheap, holds through anything, attractive
Cons: The beads can on very rare occasions catch hair, only available online, hard to figure out the right size

The flexis are among the most solid ways of holding my hair I've found yet. They're attractive, though to be honest, the beads aren't really to my taste. I'd love it if they made one made of clean metal, especially as the beads have once or twice caught on a little hair. (That said, I've slept in them and, after a night of tossing and turning, not had any hair catch, so really they're pretty catch proof. I'd worry most if your hair is very, very fine.)

They're a lot more durable feeling than I would have thought from the website. I haven't had them long enough to really put them through their paces, but they really don't feel fragile. They feel quite substantial.

I have every size from mini to large, and have styles that suit them all best. I use the mini as a braid-ender, the extra-small as a ends + scalp hair for peacock effects on French twist variations, the small for French twist variations with a little more hair and generally things which fold a little hair up against my head (I'm currently using it to fold a braid over onto my head) and pony tails, the medium for regular French twists, and the large for a bun. Now, I could survive on a lot less, and could eliminate the small and extra-small without a lot of pain, and at some point I'll undoubtedly need a larger size for my bun. But the nice thing about a variety of flexis is they do give you the flexibility for a lot of different styles.

Pros: many sizes, holds very well, look nice
Cons: can be hard to determine right size

What it says in the pros and cons, basically.
There's a very helpful sizing video, but it can still be difficult to guess correctly. I ordered one size too small, but they will exchange for you if you do.

Pros: hold well, don't snag hair, sturdy as all get-out
Cons: very flashy style

The product is well made, easy to use and works very well, though--as others have said--the sizing is a bit off. I'm waiting on an XL to try to hold my ii/iii hair in a bun, and the site recommends the XL only for those with dreadlocks.

I'm hoping they'll introduce a better range of styles, something more earthy, perhaps, and less glitzy. That said, I wear mine around the house often for the comfort and fit.

Pros: beautiful, hold well, no snagging
Cons: can slide if not holding enough hair

I received two XS flexis from the lovely SimplyViki as a gift, and they are a blessing while I grow out my shorter hair! Good for a half-up, they are very classy looking and help keep me presentable for work or school. My only complaint is sometimes they will slide or tilt a bit if you don't get just enough hair in them before you clip, but once you do, they hold like a rock and never tear the hair! Love them
